Ms. Lebogang Seitshiro has experience in environment and development. She has over 5 years experience in Environmental Management (includes Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Environmental Mainstreaming, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Community Development). She also has previous experience in policy and planning as well as community engagement, particularly on projects related to conservation, energy efficiency, water supply and sanitation. Clients and partners include government, donor agencies, civil society, private sector and local communities. Ms. Seitshiro is presently working for Cowater International in Lesotho on a Millennium Challenge Corporation funded project (rural water supply and sanitation). She was a member of the interim committee for the establishment of a certification body and certification scheme for environmental assessment practitioners in Botswana and is presently a member of the interim committee for the establishment of a Man and Biosphere Programme in Botswana. She has a Master’s degree in Human Ecology form the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium and is presently studying for a Diploma in International Environmental Law with UNITAR. She is also a certified trainer is strategic environmental assessment. Other training includes mainstreaming of environment and sustainable development in development policy, project management and environmental management systems. Ms. Seitshiro has experience in research and analysis, strategic planning, preparing and disseminating analytical studies, evaluations, and policy briefs. She has worked in Botswana, Cameroon, Zimbabwe and Lesotho and brings diverse wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
