National Climate Risk Management (CRM) Capacity Assessment and Development Plan-Namibia

The capacity development assessment looked at identifying capacity gaps both individually and institutionally in dealing with CCA and CRM. The assessment was carried out through a suite of well orchestrated consultative actions, including focal interviews and panel discussions with stakeholders in Windhoek (Khomas region), Oshakati (Oshana region) and Swakopmund (Erongo region).

Groups of cross-sectoral public and private sector stakeholders were invited to targeted working sessions that addressed specific aspects of the capacity assessment. The CRM assessment was coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET).
