Preparation of awareness raising materials (brochure, poster, presentation) based on status Assessment of the relationship between HIV/AIDS and environment in Namibia conducted my IECN in 2005

  

Namibia hosts an HIV/Aids and Environment Working Group (HEWG) which was formed in response to the widespread impacts of HIV/Aids observed anecdotally in the environmental sector. The HEWG identified that selected Protected Areas (PAs) as well as community-based natural resource management (CBNRM) projects could serve as focal service delivery nodes to promote integrated HIV/Aids and environmental initiatives in remote rural areas.
